Mother Nature is an exquisite and complex life-system. It's charm appears in the trees, stream, soil, insects, moss and fungus, all the things on the earth in different shapes, which are interdependent. When you get close to nature, please remember, each tree, stone and species of animals here has lived harmoniously for hundreds, thousands or even millions of years. When we pass away, they will continue to live. They are the real masters, while we are just the passer-by. However, the conduct we unconsciously do, such as picking, lumbering, tramping and abusing can probably destroy the balance of their life. Therefore, we must reduce our bad influence as much as possible. While you are enjoying the nature, do not forget please, the beauty of the lives also needs to be concerned with and to be protected.
Each life on the earth has a long and touching evolutionary story. From the origin, the lives of the human being are equal to those of others; they both are the composing parts of Mother Nature. Nevertheless, for some inexplicable reasons, the human becomes the spirits of all creatures. Of course, it is the result of the evolution, but still we should be grateful to all our companions in nature for the opportunity they offer.
In spite of this, humans cannot live without earth. They live on the earth, drink the sweet water, and enjoy the sunshine, the air, the sky, the fruit; the grains utilize the energy and so on. In a word, the human being cannot live without nature, and Mother Nature makes us grow stronger.
I do not like the word "Pet", but preferring the word "Animal" instead. I have been loving animal since I was just a little boy. When thinking of the "Pet Fashion", I always feel much annoyed. For the animals will be given a shackle and lose their liberty if they become someone's pets. Their natural attribution can be deprived, too.
Up to now, relying on their scientific power, the human have opened up too much and over developed nature, in order to fill up their growing appetites of wealth. They destroy the balance of nature, however, they don't realize, their own development and existence will be threatened. Therefore, our sights should be focused on nature and we should try to develop the concept of "keeping human and nature in unity".
We should lay emphasis on our education with consider cultural and natural emotion. To use the vivid example to wake up the conscience in people's hearts.
To love nature is to love our mankind. As the new generation who enter the new century, we should make efforts to love and respect nature, to treat it well and protect it. At last, we have the night to enjoy it.

Our third choice is to go to the heart of the trouble. And that means cleaning out major North Vietnamese and Vietcong occupied territories, these sanctuaries which serve as bases for attacks on both Cambodia and American and South Vietnamese forces in South Vietnam. Some of these, incidentally, are as close to Saigon as Baltimore is to Washington. This one, for example, is called the Parrot’s Beak. It’s only 33 miles from Saigon.
Now faced with these three options, this is the decision I have made. In co-operation with the armed forces of South Vietnam, attacks are being launched this week to clean out major enemy sanctuaries on the Cambodian-Vietnam border. A major responsibility for the ground operations is being assumed by South Vietnamese forces.
For example, the attacks in several areas, including the parrot’s beak that I referred to a moment ago, are exclusively South Vietnamese ground operations, under South Vietnamese command, with the United States providing air and logistical support. There is one area however, immediately above the parrot’s beak where I have concluded that a combined American and South Vietnamese operation is necessary.
Tonight, American and South Vietnamese units will attack the headquarters for the entire Communist military operation in South Vietnam. This key control center has been occupied by the North Vietnamese and Vietcong for five years in blatant violation of Cambodia’s neutrality.

We mourn seven heroes: Michael Smith, Dick Scobee, Judith Resnik, Ronald McNair, Ellison Onizuka, Gregory Jarvis, and Christa McAuliffe. We mourn their loas a nation together.
And I want to say something to the schoolchildren of who were watching the live coverage of the shuttle's take-off. I know it's hard to understand, but sometimes painful things like this happen. It's all part of the proceof exploration and discovery. It's all part of taking a chance and expanding man's horizons. The future doesn't belong to the fainthearted; it belongs to the brave. The Challenger crew was pulling us into the future, and we'll continue to follow them.
We'll continue our quest in space. There will be more shuttle flights and more shuttle crews and, yes, more volunteers, more civilians, more teachers in space. Nothing ends here; our hopes and our journeys continue.

Dream likes a beautiful flower. Different people have different dreams.They make the earth colorful and wonderful. A dream is a target in life, in which it can give people power. It can show people the directions and final destinations.
I have three dreams. My first dream is that I wish I could go to college some day, which is also the one of many other students' dreams. Going to college for further education can not only enrich our knowledge, but also teach us how to behave better. I always imagine that the college life must be very interesting. This dream gives me energy to study harder and harder. Now I'm trying my best to make it come true. Sure, I have enough confidence to realize my dream.
My second dream is becoming an excellent doctor. I always dream that I could turn a doctor like Bai Qiuen, so that I could cure a lot of patients, help them get rid of sick devil, let them lead a healthy and happy life, and finally I will feel happy, too.
My third dream is that all the people together with the surroundings can live in perfect harmony. There are no quarrellings, no cheatings, and no wars in the world. We should be kind to each other, love each other and care each other. All the people in the world could get along as well as a big family with each other. I dream that we could enjoy absolute peace and freedom.

大家晚上好!
很高興今晚年級上安排時間讓各學(xué)科老師利用11月月考反思的機會對本期以來同學(xué)們的英語學(xué)習(xí)情況進行一個簡單的總結(jié)。我覺得這樣的機會非常寶貴,也非常必要!
因為自從進入高中學(xué)習(xí)以來,同學(xué)們會發(fā)現(xiàn)高中英語學(xué)習(xí)英語與初中有很大的區(qū)別,這不僅反應(yīng)在老師的教學(xué)方法及對同學(xué)們的要求上,而且大家可以體會到在難度方面較之初中也有很大的提高,再加之我們在有限的時間里要學(xué)習(xí)很多科目,使得很多同學(xué)感覺到在英語學(xué)習(xí)上有一定的難度。通過幾次月考下來,有的同學(xué)甚至感覺到有些彌忙。因此,針對這一現(xiàn)狀,我想就以下幾點談?wù)剬W(xué)習(xí)英語值得主意的事項目。
1、英語課堂學(xué)習(xí)應(yīng)該注重課堂學(xué)習(xí)效果,課堂里的40分鐘非常寶貴且有限,要在這短短的時間內(nèi)掌握所有的英語知識肯定不易。因此,課堂中要認真聽講,及時消化,否則容易造成聽課越聽越不懂,形成惡性循環(huán)!這里我要特別提醒少數(shù)在課堂上表現(xiàn)不容樂觀的同學(xué),他們課堂上看似認真,卻是身在心不在,學(xué)習(xí)重在表象,完全不扎實,課堂上總是要在老師的督促與提醒下才能聽課,這樣不僅僅影響了自己及周邊同學(xué)的學(xué)習(xí),同時也影響了老師的教學(xué)進程,從而浪費課堂學(xué)習(xí)時間,導(dǎo)致學(xué)習(xí)困難。要知道學(xué)英語學(xué)習(xí)重在平時的努力,學(xué)好英語和智商無關(guān),學(xué)不好英語的人都是懶惰的人。那種想靠臨時突擊,臨時抱佛腳的做法不可取也不可行。
2、英語學(xué)習(xí)貴在堅持!就好像跑步運動,英語學(xué)習(xí)之初大家都從同一個起跑線出發(fā),但隨著難度加深與詞匯量加大,一些同學(xué)慢慢對英語失去新鮮感續(xù)而厭煩最后掉隊。希望大家都能奮發(fā)圖強,高中生活也才過去六分之一,因此還存較大提高的余地!對于英語偏科的同學(xué),雖然是歷史原因造成的,但并不是不可根治的,想要證明自己真正有實力那就從偏科的英語入手,重點突破!所以,現(xiàn)在欠下了學(xué)習(xí)債的同學(xué)們在課后一定要主動抽時間為自己補習(xí)英語。
3、學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣是第一生產(chǎn)力。許多同學(xué)英語學(xué)習(xí)好,并不是他(她)比別人聰明,而是學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣比較好。良好的學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣可以大大提高你的學(xué)習(xí)效果,我們年級有很多這樣的同學(xué),比如:黃健,張葉,練詩林,孫震,鄒佳玲,彭圣文,姜艷秋,黃靜文,官慧婕,唐建柯等同學(xué),她們學(xué)習(xí)態(tài)度端正,上課認真,書寫工整,正因為如此,無論什么考試都能取得很好的成績,這與她們平時良好的學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣是分不開的!因此,良好的學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣是成功學(xué)習(xí)的保障。在此,我向大家提出幾點建議,希望大家能堅持做好。
首先,樹立必勝的學(xué)習(xí)“自信心”。人的自信心是一種心理品質(zhì),是情感因素之一,它對我們的學(xué)習(xí)起著重要作用。對于一個有自信的人,他會勇于面對挑戰(zhàn),努力向自己定下的目標進發(fā),追求自我實現(xiàn),不僅可以帶來個人的成功感,在其他方面也能得到全面的發(fā)展,使自己更受人歡迎;相反,對一個沒有自信的人,他會逃避挑戰(zhàn),不敢面對失敗的風(fēng)險,懷疑自己的能力,使自己失去很多成功的機會。因此,希望大家能夠正確地分析自己的處境、建立適度的期望值,正確而理性地對待分數(shù),有句話說的好:永遠不要否定自己,因為沒有人已百分百地認識自己,人的潛能是無窮的。你自己也一樣。給自己一個目標,自己跟自己比,只要今天的自己比昨天的自己有進步,就說明你是成功的。要知道,學(xué)習(xí)英語是一項艱苦的勞動,沒有頑強的意志,堅持不懈的毅力是不能成功的。所以英語學(xué)習(xí)中要克服畏難心理,鍛煉學(xué)生堅強的意志。同時,在學(xué)習(xí)過程中,不斷地給自己積極的心理的暗示:如“我能趕上”,“我會獲得成功的!
