This dream gives me energy to study harder and harder. Now I'm trying my best to make it come true. Sure, I have enough confidence to realize my dream.

　　Our third choice is to go to the heart of the trouble. And that means cleaning out major North Vietnamese and Vietcong occupied territories, these sanctuaries which serve as bases for attacks on both Cambodia and American and South Vietnamese forces in South Vietnam. Some of these, incidentally, are as close to Saigon as Baltimore is to Washington. This one, for example, is called the Parrot’s Beak. It’s only 33 miles from Saigon.

　　Now faced with these three options, this is the decision I have made. In co-operation with the armed forces of South Vietnam, attacks are being launched this week to clean out major enemy sanctuaries on the Cambodian-Vietnam border. A major responsibility for the ground operations is being assumed by South Vietnamese forces.

　　For example, the attacks in several areas, including the parrot’s beak that I referred to a moment ago, are exclusively South Vietnamese ground operations, under South Vietnamese command, with the United States providing air and logistical support. There is one area however, immediately above the parrot’s beak where I have concluded that a combined American and South Vietnamese operation is necessary.

　　Tonight, American and South Vietnamese units will attack the headquarters for the entire Communist military operation in South Vietnam. This key control center has been occupied by the North Vietnamese and Vietcong for five years in blatant violation of Cambodia’s neutrality.

　　大家晚上好！

　　很高興今晚年級上安排時間讓各學科老師利用11月月考反思的機會對本期以來同學們的英語學習情況進行一個簡單的總結(jié)。我覺得這樣的機會非常寶貴，也非常必要！

　　因為自從進入高中學習以來，同學們會發(fā)現(xiàn)高中英語學習英語與初中有很大的區(qū)別，這不僅反應(yīng)在老師的教學方法及對同學們的要求上，而且大家可以體會到在難度方面較之初中也有很大的提高，再加之我們在有限的時間里要學習很多科目，使得很多同學感覺到在英語學習上有一定的難度。通過幾次月考下來，有的同學甚至感覺到有些彌忙。因此，針對這一現(xiàn)狀，我想就以下幾點談?wù)剬W習英語值得主意的事項目。

　　1、英語課堂學習應(yīng)該注重課堂學習效果，課堂里的40分鐘非常寶貴且有限，要在這短短的時間內(nèi)掌握所有的英語知識肯定不易。因此，課堂中要認真聽講，及時消化，否則容易造成聽課越聽越不懂，形成惡性循環(huán)！這里我要特別提醒少數(shù)在課堂上表現(xiàn)不容樂觀的同學，他們課堂上看似認真，卻是身在心不在，學習重在表象，完全不扎實，課堂上總是要在老師的督促與提醒下才能聽課，這樣不僅僅影響了自己及周邊同學的學習，同時也影響了老師的教學進程，從而浪費課堂學習時間，導(dǎo)致學習困難。要知道學英語學習重在平時的努力，學好英語和智商無關(guān)，學不好英語的人都是懶惰的人。那種想靠臨時突擊，臨時抱佛腳的做法不可取也不可行。

　　2、英語學習貴在堅持！就好像跑步運動，英語學習之初大家都從同一個起跑線出發(fā)，但隨著難度加深與詞匯量加大，一些同學慢慢對英語失去新鮮感續(xù)而厭煩最后掉隊。希望大家都能奮發(fā)圖強，高中生活也才過去六分之一，因此還存較大提高的余地！對于英語偏科的同學，雖然是歷史原因造成的，但并不是不可根治的，想要證明自己真正有實力那就從偏科的英語入手，重點突破！所以，現(xiàn)在欠下了學習債的同學們在課后一定要主動抽時間為自己補習英語。

　　3、學習習慣是第一生產(chǎn)力。許多同學英語學習好，并不是他（她）比別人聰明，而是學習習慣比較好。良好的學習習慣可以大大提高你的學習效果，我們年級有很多這樣的同學，比如：黃健，張葉，練詩林，孫震，鄒佳玲，彭圣文，姜艷秋，黃靜文，官慧婕，唐建柯等同學，她們學習態(tài)度端正，上課認真，書寫工整，正因為如此，無論什么考試都能取得很好的成績，這與她們平時良好的學習習慣是分不開的！因此，良好的學習習慣是成功學習的保障。在此，我向大家提出幾點建議，希望大家能堅持做好。

　　首先，樹立必勝的學習“自信心”。人的自信心是一種心理品質(zhì)，是情感因素之一，它對我們的學習起著重要作用。對于一個有自信的人，他會勇于面對挑戰(zhàn)，努力向自己定下的目標進發(fā)，追求自我實現(xiàn)，不僅可以帶來個人的成功感，在其他方面也能得到全面的發(fā)展，使自己更受人歡迎；相反，對一個沒有自信的人，他會逃避挑戰(zhàn)，不敢面對失敗的風險，懷疑自己的能力，使自己失去很多成功的機會。因此，希望大家能夠正確地分析自己的處境、建立適度的期望值，正確而理性地對待分數(shù)，有句話說的好：永遠不要否定自己，因為沒有人已百分百地認識自己，人的潛能是無窮的。你自己也一樣。給自己一個目標，自己跟自己比，只要今天的自己比昨天的自己有進步，就說明你是成功的。要知道，學習英語是一項艱苦的勞動，沒有頑強的意志，堅持不懈的毅力是不能成功的。所以英語學習中要克服畏難心理，鍛煉學生堅強的意志。同時，在學習過程中，不斷地給自己積極的心理的暗示：如“我能趕上”，“我會獲得成功的�！�

　　第二，要做好課前預(yù)習。高中英語教材每一個模塊的內(nèi)容都比初中明顯增多，詞匯量大，課文長，難度大。因此，同學們必須在每節(jié)課前做好充分的預(yù)習，通過查

　　第四，養(yǎng)成朗讀背誦的習慣。朗讀是在課文所提供的語境中對語音，語調(diào)，意群，句型等基礎(chǔ)知識的綜合練習，同時培養(yǎng)純正的語音語調(diào)和好的用語習慣以及為聽力打下堅實的基礎(chǔ)。對學過的句型，詞組，對話，課文進行朗讀和背誦，形成流利的語感，也培養(yǎng)了理解能力，為說，讀及英語寫作打好基礎(chǔ)，這是提高英語水平的根本方法。

　　第五，建立錯誤檔案本。在學習過程中，已獲得的知識和技能對以后新知識，新技能的形成產(chǎn)生一定的影響，最好的辦法是消滅錯誤，獲得正確知識和技能。每次練習或考試后，應(yīng)該把自己做錯的具有代表性的題目抄下來，收集匯編，然后把老師對錯題講解后的正確語句熟讀牢記，保留錯誤的答案，用紅筆寫上正確的答案，眉批上理由分析，這樣就形成新的語言習慣。平時和臨考前翻看，加深印象，引起注意，大大減少了錯誤率。既鞏固了知識，又提高了應(yīng)試能力，發(fā)揮了最佳的水平。

　　第六，養(yǎng)成良好的書寫習慣。書寫規(guī)范，字跡工整，卷面整潔的習慣也很重要。高中相當一部分學生的字體書寫不好，難以辨認，大小寫不分，詞距若有若無，標點符號亂用，給老師批改作業(yè)和試卷造成極大的麻煩。這在高考閱卷評分中會吃大虧，白白丟分。因此，從高一開始平時要養(yǎng)成書寫規(guī)范的習慣，對大小寫，標點符號和詞距等一定要一絲不茍，力求規(guī)范化，整齊美觀。

　　第七，養(yǎng)成使用英漢雙解詞典的習慣。高中學生閱讀面擴大，需要補充詞匯量。學生應(yīng)備一本英漢詞典，如牛津中，高階英漢雙解詞典，在學習中隨時查閱。這在很大程度上能解決學生的疑惑，幫助理解詞的用法，詞匯量也就隨之不斷擴大。

　　最后，認真對待老師布置的作業(yè)，包括書面的和非書面的作業(yè)。作業(yè)一定要按時獨立完成，不要成為學習上的“寄生蟲”。作業(yè)是老師檢查了解學生知識掌握情況的一個有效途徑，要求同學們能如實客觀地對待作業(yè)。知之為知之，不知為不知，寧愿獨立完成歸后空幾題的作業(yè)，也比完全不經(jīng)過自己大腦思考抄襲來的作業(yè)質(zhì)量高得多。許多同學自覺性差，平時空空散漫，交作業(yè)時就抄，很多時間，老師都布置了一定的英語作業(yè)，但更多的時候是要求同

　　學們主動地去找作業(yè)做，找事情干。這里要特別強調(diào)的是課外英語單詞的記憶。眾所周知，記憶在英語教學中占有極其重要的地位。從某種程度講，它是學好英語的要害與前提。因為英語是一門記憶性很強的學科。它有大量的單詞、詞組、句型、語法等需要記憶。有些同學反應(yīng)單詞老是記不住，問有沒有捷徑可循，我想方法之一盡量采取情景記憶，把這個單詞放在語言環(huán)境中記，這樣不僅輕易記住，而且還把握了它的用法。因此在這就特別強調(diào)對我們報紙單詞的記憶是在仔細閱讀報紙文章的前提下進行的。因為在文章中或?qū)υ捴杏泦卧~，能達到事半功倍的效果。以記單詞為例，方法很多，但是比較科學簡潔的方法還是研究單詞的結(jié)構(gòu)，分析詞義。分析英代的單詞構(gòu)成，可以知道復(fù)合詞和派生詞占相稱大比例，尤其是派生詞數(shù)量極多，派生詞均由詞根和詞綴構(gòu)成，詞根和詞綴均有特定的含義，若按詞根的方式記憶，勢必可以提高效率，少出錯誤。比如，unsuccessful，知道詞根success是“成功”的意思，un是否定前綴，ful是形容詞后綴，那么，這個單詞的詞義“不成功的”就很明確了。當然，背單詞是一件相當枯燥且繁瑣的事情，并不是所有的單詞都在一定的情景，因而單詞記憶在很多時候需要進行機械記憶，這是語言學科的特性決定的，這也包括英語學習中的相關(guān)知識點的記憶。要掌握就必須要不斷的反復(fù)，背了就忘，忘了再背，如果不及時復(fù)習鞏固，當然又會忘。所以提醒大學要分散記憶，反復(fù)復(fù)習。同學們千萬不能縱容自己說：英語好難，我記不住就任由他去。我們必須知道：今天，你花大時間去養(yǎng)成好習慣，明天，你就可以更好。

　　In spite of this, humans cannot live without earth. They live on the earth, drink the sweet water, and enjoy the sunshine, the air, the sky, the fruit; the grains utilize the energy and so on. In a word, the human being cannot live without nature, and Mother Nature makes us grow stronger.

　　I do not like the word "Pet", but preferring the word "Animal" instead. I have been loving animal since I was just a little boy. When thinking of the "Pet Fashion", I always feel much annoyed. For the animals will be given a shackle and lose their liberty if they become someone's pets. Their natural attribution can be deprived, too.

　　Up to now, relying on their scientific power, the human have opened up too much and over developed nature, in order to fill up their growing appetites of wealth. They destroy the balance of nature, however, they don't realize, their own development and existence will be threatened. Therefore, our sights should be focused on nature and we should try to develop the concept of "keeping human and nature in unity".

The Challenger crew was pulling us into the future, and we'll continue to follow them.

　　We'll continue our quest in space. There will be more shuttle flights and more shuttle crews and, yes, more volunteers, more civilians, more teachers in space. Nothing ends here; our hopes and our journeys continue.
