　　Computers are changing our life. You can do a lot of things with a computer. Such as, you can use a computer to write articles, watch video CDs, play games and do office work. But the most important use of a computer is to join the Internet. By joining a computer to Internet, we can get the latest information in all fields. We don't need to leave home to borrow books from a library or to do shopping in a supermarket.

　　My name is Gong Chen. I am a fourteen-year-old girl. Now, I study at Dongzhou Middle School.

　　My school is very big and beautiful.

　　There are seven lofty buildings in our school and there are a lot of classrooms in it. There are some nice flowers in my school. There is a new playground in our school. We students exercise in the playground every day. Our school library is at the back of our school. We can do some reading there after class. It’s a nice place to study.

　　When you come into our school, you can see a lake near the school gate. There are three ducks swimming and playing in it. What a beautiful school!

　　I like my school. I am proud of being a student in our school. I’ll work hard for it.

　　Last Monday when I stepped into my classroom, my monitor told us that our class teacher, Mr Sun, had passed away in a traffic accident. It seemed so unbelievable because he used to give us lessons on Monday morning. I couldn't accept the fact until the headmaster came to tell us the truth.

　　Mr Sun was a middle-aged teacher. He was full of sense of humour. We all liked him very much because of his excellent teaching. His lessons were usually very lively and interesting.We all liked to attend his class. He was an experienced teacher.

　　My father likes fishing. He always goes fishing with his friends in Autumn.

　　One day, he took me to fish, too. In autumn, fish have grown up. It is the best season to fish. First, we chose a good place. Then my father helped me put an earthworm onto the fishhook. Afterwards, I threw the fishhook into the river. I waited for a long time. Suddenly, I saw the float sink. I was very happy. I pulled it out of the water but I only saw half of the earthworm. The fish played a trick on me. I was very angry. But my father said to me, “it takes time. You need to be more patient.” I tried again. A few minutes later, I caught a big fish and I showed it to my father. My father praised me, “what a good angler you are!”

　　Last week Chang Feng Park held a flower show. I went to visit it with my friends. I was very glad to see so many beautiful flowers in the park. I was really amazed to see a sea of colourful flowers. They told me that some rare flowers came from Chinese Taiwan.Thousands of people stopped and watched them carefully. I took many pictures there. Chinese Taiwan has always been a part of our country. I am sure sooner or later we can go there to see many more beautiful flowers. What great fun it will be.
