i have had a lot of teachers in my school who have given me much help in my study。 for their help i will never forget them。 but today i am going to talk about a special teacher of mine。 this teacher is not a human being and its name is“computer”。 it has been teaching me a lot of knowledge and i appreciate it very much。
with the development of modern science and technology， computers are widely used in every teritories (1) including education。 how can a computer be my teacher? how does a computer teach me? multimedia(多媒體)helps a lot in this aspect in recent years， and computer-based training (cbt) has become a popular educational medium (手段)。 even before the multimedia come (2) up， many different learning systems appeared， using the components and techniques we now associate with the term “multimedia”。 multimedia components， such as graphics (動(dòng)畫) ， animations ， sound and video， make the learning process easier through visualization。 animations can present many complex subjects dynamically， but human teachers can not do this on blackboards。 multimedia makes our study more lively and interesting。
for example， a cd-rom disk named “encarta encyclopedia” contains 650 mb information including images， graphics， music clips， video clips， animations ， texts， hotwords， and database search functions。 fields involved includes physical sciences， performance arts， social sciences， politics， military， education and so on。 when pressing a button， i can hear american president clinton's speech clip。 i may enjoy playing all kinds of musical instruments in the world。 i can also see the animation of many physical phenomena。 this makes physical concept to be understood deeply (3)。 the audio features of multimedia can greatly help me learning (4) foreign languages。 with its speech output capabilities， i'm no longer dependent on an instructor for proper pronunciation。
how can i interact with a com puter? there are many ways， including keyboard， mouse pointer， and touch screen。 i often use a keyboard。 when i press right keys， i can see and hear whatever i want。 information world is at my fingertip。 i wish that true speech input-output system would be invented one day。
as teachers， computers have a lot of virtues： they are positive， they have good memories and never lose any information stored in them。 they have much knowledge in every field。 they can let out all kinds of sounds， and can also improve the efficiency of our study。 for example， if i want to， i can skip some chapters so that i can study at my own pace。
although computers will never take the place of human teachers， they are welcomed by more and more learners。 computers will continue to evolve(發(fā)展)with the aid of modern technologies。 computers are so powerful， helpful and important that everybody needs it， especially in the future! i love my computer teacher!

我的老師 My "Teacher" 演講稿
本文曾獲得北京電視臺(tái)、國(guó)家教育部舉辦的 My teacher 英語(yǔ)演講比賽優(yōu)勝獎(jiǎng)。在以“我的老師”為主題的演講會(huì)上，這篇演講出人意料地將計(jì)算機(jī)稱作自己的老師，以吸引聽眾的注意。然后又用事實(shí)與推理證明計(jì)算機(jī)確實(shí)是一個(gè)“老師”，從而贏得了聽眾的共鳴。某些語(yǔ)言上的不足之處點(diǎn)評(píng)修改如下：
(1)在every后，territory用復(fù)數(shù)，顯然是錯(cuò)誤的。另外，表示“各個(gè)領(lǐng)域”，用field為好。
(2)原文時(shí)態(tài)用錯(cuò)了。
(3)concept是可數(shù)名詞。make后的賓語(yǔ)補(bǔ)語(yǔ)如果是不定式的話，要省略to。另外，一般不用被動(dòng)不定式，而只用過去分詞。deeply也有中國(guó)式英語(yǔ)之嫌。
(4)help sb. (to)do，不用 doing。

生活中我的老師很多，有學(xué)校的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)，在學(xué)校的生活和各種會(huì)議中我從他們那里學(xué)習(xí)到了很多；有學(xué)校的很多老教師；在日常的生活和工作中我向他們學(xué)習(xí)、請(qǐng)教，也收獲了很多；還有學(xué)校很多的年輕教師，他們的有活力、富有激情，一直也是我學(xué)習(xí)的榜樣。在我的班主任工作中我還有一批特殊的老師，他們就是在我班里經(jīng)常犯錯(cuò)誤的學(xué)生，他們讓我認(rèn)識(shí)到了教育的真諦，讓我認(rèn)識(shí)到了什么是愛，我又應(yīng)該怎樣去愛他們。正是他們的存在，讓我認(rèn)識(shí)到了學(xué)習(xí)的重要性。在學(xué)習(xí)過程中我從一個(gè)小故事里，認(rèn)識(shí)到了班級(jí)管理的原則。
1560年，瑞士鐘表匠塔•布克在游歷了埃及的金塔后就作出了一個(gè)判斷，金塔的建造者不是奴隸，而是一批歡快自由的人。布克原是一位天主教信徒，后因反對(duì)羅馬教廷刻板的教規(guī)而被捕入獄。因他是鐘表大師，入獄后被安排制作鐘表。在那個(gè)失去自由的地方，無論獄方采取什么的手段，都不能使他們制作出日誤差低于十分之一秒的鐘表，而在入獄前的時(shí)候的可不一樣，那時(shí)在他們自已的作坊里都能制作出日誤差低于百分之一秒的鐘表。XX年，埃及最高文物委員會(huì)宣布，通過對(duì)吉薩附近的600處墓葬的考古發(fā)現(xiàn)，金塔是由當(dāng)?shù)鼐哂凶杂缮矸莸霓r(nóng)民和手工業(yè)者制造的，而非歷史所記載的由30萬(wàn)奴隸所建造。這個(gè)故事告訴我，在過分指導(dǎo)和嚴(yán)格監(jiān)管的地方別指忘有奇跡發(fā)生，因?yàn)槿说哪芰ξㄓ性谏硇暮椭C的時(shí)候才能發(fā)揮出最佳水平。是��！我們的教育又何嘗不是如此呢，科學(xué)的教育體制、厚重的人文環(huán)境、博大的校園文化、較高的職業(yè)素養(yǎng)、和諧的人際關(guān)系等等才能鑄就和諧教育，才能發(fā)生教育的奇跡。
讓每位學(xué)生享受到身心和諧的教育便成了我教育的最求。原來愛發(fā)脾氣的我很少發(fā)脾氣了，看到孩子們犯錯(cuò)，我心里有的時(shí)候會(huì)平添一種喜悅，孩子又能得到一次進(jìn)步、反思和成長(zhǎng)的機(jī)會(huì)，我?guī)椭齺碜鲞@些事情。下面我想講述一個(gè)我和我的一位愛遲到學(xué)生的故事。
我班里曾經(jīng)有一個(gè)學(xué)生，她總是遲到，即使是她搞值日的時(shí)候她也會(huì)比別人來的都晚。還記得那一次該她掃地，她來完了，其他同學(xué)幫她完成了之日。我在教室外問她來晚的原因，她說她的鬧鐘壞了，沒有響，所以遲到了。我說那好吧，今天大家都幫你搞了之日，明天你再搞吧，她答應(yīng)了。第二天，她又來晚了，我又問她原因，她說她生病了，有點(diǎn)兒發(fā)燒，我又不知道該如何回答。我不是一個(gè)機(jī)靈的人，也不知道該怎么做。就問她能不能堅(jiān)持上課，還關(guān)心她多喝點(diǎn)水。她說這個(gè)沒問題。我心想他這周怎么也得搞一次值日吧，我就跟他說，如果明天身體沒有問題，早上七點(diǎn)到班里搞值日吧。第三天我也很早去了班里，七點(diǎn)了她還沒到，我就自己拿起了掃帚開始掃地，班里的同學(xué)陸陸續(xù)續(xù)到了很多，她還沒有來，大概在7:10的時(shí)候，他走進(jìn)了教室，看見我和一位同學(xué)正在掃地，她也趕緊拿起了掃帚和我們一起掃地，我問題身體還發(fā)燒嗎，她說不發(fā)燒了，我也感覺她比以往來的早了一些，就什么也沒說。我沒有再對(duì)她做什么要求。第四天，我依然7點(diǎn)鐘到了教室，發(fā)現(xiàn)教室里已經(jīng)有一位同學(xué)在那里開始掃地了，我想大家都知道這個(gè)人是誰(shuí)。我沒有在要求她今天搞值日，但是她自己要求自己做了，后來這位同學(xué)再也沒有遲到過。她的身體不太好，在暑假的留言中我給她建議每天慢跑1500米或者抽時(shí)間去游泳，她做到了，到了高二，她父母支持她報(bào)了一個(gè)健美操班，每天下午還要到操場(chǎng)跑三圈，她在鍛煉身體上投入了很多的時(shí)間，但是她的學(xué)習(xí)成績(jī)并沒有下降，還有了很大的進(jìn)步。更重要的是她的學(xué)習(xí)和生活更加積極和樂觀了。高中畢業(yè)以后去了深圳大學(xué)。說道這里，我想到了老子的一段話，君子行不言之教，用我們行動(dòng)和思想，慢慢的去影響他們，讓他們逐步認(rèn)識(shí)自己，發(fā)現(xiàn)自己，管理自己，最后去成就自己。我們不要著急，路走對(duì)了，順其自然，孩子們都會(huì)收獲自己精彩的人生。
