3月5日什么日子?沒(méi)錯(cuò)，是學(xué)雷鋒日，也正是“向雷鋒同志學(xué)習(xí)”毛主席題詞發(fā)表的紀(jì)念日，因此整個(gè)三月，就成了我們學(xué)習(xí)雷鋒的傳統(tǒng)文明月。四十多年過(guò)去了，雷鋒離開(kāi)我們?cè)絹?lái)越久了，但是他的精神卻永垂不朽，在雷鋒精神的照耀下，我們一代代青少年實(shí)踐著自己的人生價(jià)值，努力的學(xué)習(xí)，為社會(huì)做出巨大的貢獻(xiàn)。今天，站在這莊嚴(yán)的國(guó)旗下，我們要談的主題就是：學(xué)雷鋒，揚(yáng)新風(fēng)，養(yǎng)成文明行為習(xí)慣。圍繞這一主題，今天我講話的題目是：學(xué)雷鋒樹新風(fēng)。
“雷鋒”這兩個(gè)字，每一個(gè)中國(guó)人都知道。他是一位普通的中國(guó)士兵，他無(wú)私，他愛(ài)崗，但是他的生命卻僅僅走過(guò)了短暫的20xx年，他以平凡樸實(shí)的言行，展現(xiàn)出一種令人震撼的道德品質(zhì)和人格魅力;一提起雷鋒，我們就會(huì)不由自主地想起他生前所做的每一件小事：幫列車員拖地、打掃候車室，為丟失車票的大嫂買票，給困難戰(zhàn)友家中寄錢等等等等。所以人們常說(shuō)：雷鋒出差一千里，好事做了一火車。可見(jiàn)在他那短暫的人生中做了多少好事，給別人帶來(lái)了多少快樂(lè)和安慰。
我曾經(jīng)看過(guò)這樣一個(gè)童話故事：一個(gè)在一片草地上玩耍時(shí)，看見(jiàn)一只蝴蝶被荊棘弄傷了，她輕輕在捉起她，然后又小心翼翼將蝴蝶翅膀上的刺拔掉，又讓它飛向大自然。后來(lái)蝴蝶為了報(bào)恩，化做一位仙女，對(duì)小女孩說(shuō)：“請(qǐng)你許個(gè)愿吧!我將讓它實(shí)現(xiàn)。”小女孩想想說(shuō)，“我最想要的是快樂(lè)”。于是，仙女在她耳邊細(xì)語(yǔ)一番便飛走了，后來(lái)，這個(gè)小女孩果真快樂(lè)地度過(guò)了一生。而這個(gè)快樂(lè)的秘密就是力所能及地幫助身邊的每一個(gè)人。
同學(xué)們，這個(gè)故事看起來(lái)很小，但是卻告訴我們，向雷鋒叔叔學(xué)習(xí)，就要從做好每一件小事開(kāi)始，從身邊最平凡的小事做起：撿起地上的一片果皮紙屑，你就是一個(gè)愛(ài)清潔的環(huán)保小衛(wèi)士;幫助需要幫助的同學(xué)，你就是一個(gè)有愛(ài)心的好朋友;珍惜每一分鐘，勤學(xué)勤問(wèn)，你就是一個(gè)愛(ài)學(xué)習(xí)的小標(biāo)兵;見(jiàn)到老師、長(zhǎng)輩問(wèn)一聲好，你就是一個(gè)懂禮貌的的好孩子;再過(guò)兩天就是三八婦女節(jié)了，你送給媽媽一本字跡清秀的作業(yè)，或?yàn)樗松弦槐瓱釟怛v騰的茶水，或?yàn)樗暻椴⒚乩收b一篇課文，獻(xiàn)上一曲動(dòng)聽(tīng)的歌等等，來(lái)表達(dá)你對(duì)媽媽的愛(ài)。這一點(diǎn)一滴的事情，看起來(lái)雖然很小，但卻都是學(xué)雷鋒的具體表現(xiàn)。做好這些小事，不僅僅別人得到了快樂(lè)，你自己同樣也是快樂(lè)的。

Ladies and Gentlemen
I'm only going to talk to you just for a minute or so this evening because I have some -- some very sad news for all of you -- Could you lower those signs please? -- I have some very sad news for all of you and I think sad news for all of our fellow citizens and people who love peace all over the world; and that is that Martin Luther King was shot and was killed tonight in Memphis Tennessee.
Martin Luther King dedicated his life to love and to justice between fellow human beings. He died in the cause of that effort. In this difficult day in this difficult time for the United States it's perhaps well to ask what kind of a nation we are and what direction we want to move in. For those of you who are black -- considering the evidence evidently is that there were white people who were responsible -- you can be filled with bitterness and with hatred and a desire for revenge.
We can move in that direction as a country in greater polarization -- black people amongst blacks and white amongst whites filled with hatred toward one another. Or we can make an effort as Martin Luther King did to understand and to comprehend and replace that violence that stain of bloodshed that has spread across our land with an effort to understand compassion and love.
For those of you who are black and are tempted to fill with -- be filled with hatred and mistrust of the injustice of such an act against all white people I would only say that I can also feel in my own heart the same kind of feeling. I had a member of my family killed but he was killed by a white man.
But we have to make an effort in the United States. We have to make an effort to understand to get beyond or go beyond these rather difficult times.

在紀(jì)念毛澤東同志誕辰110周年的日子里，松桃苗族自治縣各族群眾從12月初開(kāi)始就組織了豐富多彩的紀(jì)念活動(dòng)。每當(dāng)夜幕降臨，縣城街道兩旁大樓里就飄出歌頌毛澤東的歌聲。
為參加12月26日縣里舉行的“紀(jì)念毛澤東頌歌演唱比賽”，松桃苗族自治縣縣直機(jī)關(guān)幾十個(gè)單位的數(shù)千名干部職工每天晚上和節(jié)假日都在排練，以飽滿的熱情歌唱，激發(fā)起對(duì)革命年代的追憶和懷想。為組織頌揚(yáng)毛澤東圖書展覽活動(dòng)，松桃新華書店領(lǐng)導(dǎo)先后到北京、重慶、長(zhǎng)沙等地采購(gòu)有關(guān)圖書，數(shù)千冊(cè)圖書還未上架，就被預(yù)訂了一大半，《毛澤東詩(shī)詞》被搶購(gòu)一空。如今，閱讀、背誦毛澤東詩(shī)詞在松桃已成為獨(dú)特的文化時(shí)尚。“學(xué)習(xí)領(lǐng)袖毛澤東、當(dāng)好革命接班人”的演講比賽吸引了全縣28個(gè)鄉(xiāng)鎮(zhèn)數(shù)萬(wàn)名中小學(xué)生，幾十個(gè)學(xué)校組織預(yù)賽，寫出的演講稿達(dá)3000多篇。從全縣數(shù)百名業(yè)余作者上千幅作品中精選110幅舉辦的《書法繪畫剪紙攝影展覽》，開(kāi)展當(dāng)天觀眾就達(dá)1萬(wàn)余人。歌頌毛澤東的詩(shī)歌創(chuàng)作和征聯(lián)比賽，一個(gè)月就收到作品400多件。

Ladies and Gentlemen I'd planned to speak to you tonight to report on the state of the union but the events of earlier today have led me to change those plans. Today is a day for mourning and remembering. Nancy and I are pained to the core by the tragedy of the shuttle Challenger. We know we share this pain with all of the people of our country. This is truly a national loss.
Nineteen years ago almost to the day we lost three astronauts in a terrible accident on the ground. But we've never lost an astronaut in flight. We've never had a tragedy like this.
And perhaps we've forgotten the courage it took for the crew of the shuttle. But they the Challenger Seven were aware of the dangers but overcame them and did their jobs brilliantly. We mourn seven heroes: Michael Smith Dick Scobee Judith Resnik Ronald McNair Ellison Onizuka Gregory Jarvis and Christa McAuliffe.
We mourn their loss as a nation together.
For the families of the seven we cannot bear as you do the full impact of this tragedy. But we feel the loss and we're thinking about you so very much. Your loved ones were daring and brave and they had that special grace that special spirit that says "Give me a challenge and I'll meet it with joy." They had a hunger to explore the universe and discover its truths. They wished to serve and they did. They served all of us.
We've grown used to wonders in this century. It's hard to dazzle us. But for twenty-five years the United States space program has been doing just that. We've grown used to the idea of space and perhaps we forget that we've only just begun. We're still pioneers. They the members of the Challenger crew were pioneers.
And I want to say something to the schoolchildren of America who were watching the live coverage of the shuttle's take-off. I know it's hard to understand but sometimes painful things like this happen. It's all part of the process of exploration and discovery. It's all part of taking a chance and expanding man's horizons. The future doesn't belong to the fainthearted; it belongs to the brave. The Challenger crew was pulling us into the future and we'll continue to follow them.

I feel that this award was not made to me as a man but to my work -- a life's work in the agony and sweat of the human spirit not for glory and least of all for profit but to create out of the materials of the human spirit something which did not exist before.

I feel that this award was not made to me as a man but to my work -- a life's work in the agony and sweat of the human spirit not for glory and least of all for profit but to create out of the materials of the human spirit something which did not exist before. So this award is only mine in trust. It will not be difficult to find a dedication for the money part of it commensurate with the purpose and significance of its origin. But I would like to do the same with the acclaim too by using this moment as a pinnacle from which I might be listened to by the young men and women already dedicated to the same anguish and travail among whom is already that one who will some day stand here where I am standing.

Our tragedy today is a general and universal physical fear so long sustained by now that we can even bear it. There are no longer problems of the spirit. There is only the question: When will I be blown up? Because of this the young man or woman writing today has forgotten the problems of the human heart in conflict with itself which alone can make good writing because only that is worth writing about worth the agony and the sweat.

He must learn them again. Until he does so he labors under a curse. He writes not of love but of lust of defeats in which nobody loses anything of value of victories without hope and worst of all without pity or compassion. I refuse to accept this. I believe that man will not merely endure: he will prevail. He is immortal not because he alone among creatures has an inexhaustible voice but because he has a soul a spirit capable of compassion and sacrifice and endurance.

The poet’s the writer's duty is to write about these things. It is his privilege to help man endure by lifting his heart by reminding him of the courage and honor and hope and pride and compassion and pity and sacrifice which have been the glory of his past. The poet's voice need not merely be the record of man it can be one of the props the pillars to help him endure and prevail.
