五四青年節(jié)一個隆重而又莊嚴(yán)的節(jié)日，一個可以激發(fā)我們青年人熱情的節(jié)日，從1919年的5月4日，轉(zhuǎn)眼間我們走過了98個春秋了。它不是一個不同的日子，而是代表我們中國青年自己的日子。
它總是讓我回想起中國的青年為了祖國與人民的命運(yùn)而作的斗爭的精神。我理解的五四精神是自由、民主、愛國，是銳意進(jìn)取，這些在任何時(shí)代都是應(yīng)該繼承與發(fā)揚(yáng)的。雖然當(dāng)代大學(xué)生身處的時(shí)代和九十年前大不相同，但這些根深蒂固的傳統(tǒng)是變不了的。時(shí)光飛逝，歲月如流，從上個世紀(jì)的1919年到現(xiàn)在，五四已經(jīng)走過了近一個世紀(jì)。
時(shí)間已經(jīng)過去98年了，彈指間灰飛煙滅，歷史的腳印永遠(yuǎn)定格在那個時(shí)期那個動蕩的年代。那個時(shí)代充滿了的黑暗與殘酷，但是那個難忘的歷史只有留在史冊上與人們的心里。
無論是被欺壓還是我們奮起的反抗，那些種種都過去了，過去是值得紀(jì)念，但是更重要的是還留存下來的一種精神，一種五四所帶來的英勇與堅(jiān)強(qiáng)、果敢與奮進(jìn)、熱忱與理想、不屈與抗?fàn)幍木瘛＿@精神不該隨著歲月的變遷而流逝，那種精神不該只停留在那個時(shí)代，那種精神也不該只是用來讓我們來紀(jì)念。我常常思考這樣一個問題:我們這樣推崇的五四精神是否過時(shí)了?還是脫離了現(xiàn)代21世界的發(fā)展?。但是我想說的是這種精神是從不凝固，正如歷史永不會重現(xiàn)。
記得有人說過，擊非典的眾志成城，直到最近幾年的汶川地震，還有前一陣子才發(fā)生的玉樹地震。我們?nèi)匀挥兄鴲蹏木�，仍然有著國家有難，我們青年人作為先鋒隊(duì)，為國家現(xiàn)身。雖說不上過去戰(zhàn)亂年代的拋頭顱灑熱血的年代，但是我們?nèi)耘f有著愛國的精神，為國家盡著微薄的力量。所以這種五四精神沒有被我們現(xiàn)在的年輕人所遺忘。然而我們正在繼續(xù)壯大這種精神。

1979 年，那是一個春天，中國走上了改革開放的道路。1992年，又是一個春天，經(jīng)濟(jì)特區(qū)的出現(xiàn)，讓外國人驚嘆：“這是中國嗎?”是的，這是中國，只是她變了。她走出了固步自封的怪圈，她實(shí)現(xiàn)了一個個戰(zhàn)略目標(biāo)，衛(wèi)星發(fā)射，嫦娥奔月……巨龍?jiān)隍v飛! XX年7月13日，更是一個好日子，當(dāng)國際奧委會主席宣布第29屆奧運(yùn)會在中國舉辦時(shí)，那一刻，五星紅旗冉冉升起，我不由得想起了“五四”運(yùn)動的英雄們，想起那些為中國拋頭顱，撒熱血的先烈們�，F(xiàn)在要是他們知道祖國正凝聚著全世界的目光，他們一定會含笑九泉的。
親愛的同學(xué)們，不要問祖國為我們做什么，要問我為國家做什么?我們要發(fā)奮圖強(qiáng)，珍惜青春，放飛理想。學(xué)則智，不學(xué)則愚。學(xué)習(xí)，我們的國家就會進(jìn)步;不學(xué)，我們的國家就會落后。把握好青春，我們才會實(shí)現(xiàn)我們的理想。

歷史長河浪淘沙，送走了多少歲月;時(shí)代畫卷，波瀾壯闊，記載了無數(shù)英杰。今天，就讓我們望歲月峰頭，伴歷史云煙，循火紅足跡，踏坎坷征程，一起回望一百年前的五四愛國運(yùn)動。
1919年5月4日，為了驅(qū)散籠罩在神州大地的陰云，為了祖國的獨(dú)立和自由。北京三所高校的3000多名學(xué)生代表沖破軍警的阻撓，云集天安門，他們打出“誓死力爭，還我青島”、“拒絕在巴黎和會上簽字”、“廢除二十一條”等口號。也許你會問，是什么讓他們面對帝國主義瘋狂的侵略行為，面對武裝力量的鎮(zhèn)壓和逮捕，表現(xiàn)得如此的勇敢呢?是愛國精神，是從筋骨里浸出來，從血液里激出來，從心靈里跳出來，從生命里震蕩出來的愛國精神。
