When I'm free or in trouble, I always take out a book and read quietly. Inno time, I've put my heart into it so that I'll forget all the troubles. It's inthis way that I've formed the habit of reading in any time.
Little boys as I was, I was interest in picture books and storybooks. I wasstruck by them. No sooner had I entered the middle school than I began to readnovel, plays, essays and so on. I found I could get much from them. Little bylittle I took great interest in literature and last term I won the first prizein the composition contest among middle-school students in Zhe Jiang.
Reading “The Emperor's New Clothes”, I had to let out a burst of laughterover his fool. "The Little Match Girl" couldn't keep me from crying for hermisery. " Robinson Crusoe" took me into a strange world full of danger. And Iwas also deeply impressed by Helen Keller's patience and perseverance… Besidesthese, books also tell me other thing -how to be a man and how to tell thedifference between right and wrong. The old man and the sea is written by an oldfisherman fishing in the sea for three days and three nights. The old man decided to go to fisherman who has never been to thedeep sea fishing, to prove your ability and courage. As the development of the world, there is more and more entertainment forpeople to kill time. Reading used to be an important amusement. But now thereare less and less people fond of reading. But there are still a large number ofpeople stand on the side of reading. For me, I think reading is very important.The reasons are as following.
First of all, reading can broaden our vision. The main way we learn thethings happen long time ago is according to the book. People will try their bestto write the things in their stage in their way. When we read books, we have theopportunity to learn everything. The content in the books contains the knowledgeall over the world and every aspect. We can read the knowledge about biography,science, technology, culture, economic and so on from the book. It is hard notto broaden vision from reading.
Secondly, reading can cultivate our taste. I am sure that reading someelegant sentence or the beautiful things described in the book will make us feelrelax and comfortable. And we all know that the more knowledge a person has, thebetter-behaved he will be. I think this is the charming of reading. If there aremore people like reading, the world will become more civilized.
The importance mentioned above just a part of reading. It has so manyadvantages that I can’t list all in a short time. It is irreplaceable in humanbeings’ life.

其次，閱讀可以陶冶我們的情操。我相信閱讀一些優(yōu)美的句子或者書中描述的美麗東西會使我們感到放松和舒適。我們都知道一個人擁有的知識越多，那個人就會表現(xiàn)得越好。我覺得這就是閱讀的魅力。如果有更多的人喜歡閱讀，這個世界會變得更加文明。
上面所提到的重要性只是其中一部分。閱讀有很多的優(yōu)點，在短時間內(nèi)我都不能一一列舉我不能列舉。它在人類的生活中是不可替代的。
