　　屈原是戰(zhàn)國時楚國的大官，楚國不采納他的治國主張，反而將他免職流放，他在流放途中看到楚國衰亡，人民遭受苦難，自己又無力挽救老百姓，他心中悲憤難忍，便于公元前278年的五月初五，投入汩羅江自盡。楚國百姓知道后，竟相劃船前去相救，但已來不及了，百姓們擔心江中的魚，鱉，咬食屈原的遺體，便用竹殼裹米投入江中喂魚。從此，劃龍舟，包粽子就是我們中國的風俗了。
